FAQ's:

• How do I pay for lessons?

  You will receive a payment request form with necessary bank details once a lesson booking has been made

• Can I cancel a lesson?

  We operate a 24-hour minimum cancellation notice period; lesson fees will otherwise be charged in full.

• What if I am running late?

  We will try to accommodate you as necessary, however this is not always possible given students are often scheduled back to back with little space in-between

• Do I need weekly lessons?

  After an initial lesson we will be in a much better position to gauge the frequency of tuition required. Despite being a private business, if we can cut back hours to save you money we will!

• Can you provide references?

  Of course ! Previous customer testimonials and student recommendations available upon request

• What technology do I need for an online lesson?

  A laptop or iPad works with a working webcam. Mobile phones are not suitable

• Is there a minimum contract period?

  No ! You are entering a zero hours contract agreement - if you decide after the first lesson you do not wish to continue, you are completely free to do so.

• Do you offer other subjects?

  PiandMath is primarily Maths Tuition; however, I have a fleet of highly suitable tutors in other subject areas that I regularly communicate with and refer parents and students to on a quid-pro-quo basis where necessary.

• Are tutors DBS Checked?

  Yes. I have an enhanced DBS (copy available upon request) and any recommendations to tutors for other subjects will have the same. We all currently teach either full or part time at schools or colleges and as such undergo enhanced DRB checks as a statutory requirement.
